2027 Class Yearbook:
T H E C O L O N N A D E
From 1888 to 2008, and with a brief revival from 2015 to 2018, the University of Virginia yearbook served as a lasting record of life on Grounds under the name Corks & Curls. It captured the people, traditions, achievements, and experiences that shaped each generation of students. Through its coverage of student life, athletics, organizations, and defining moments in the University's history, the yearbook preserved a unique portrait of the UVA experience. More than a collection of photographs, it celebrated the individuals and communities that gave the University its character, providing a platform for students and organizations whose stories might otherwise go untold. In doing so, the yearbook connected generations of Cavaliers, preserving not only the University's history but also the memories, relationships, and shared experiences that made each year distinct.
This year, we are reviving that lost tradition. The Class of 2027 UVA Yearbook is currently in progress and will be printed this Spring. The project is being led by Colin Kelly, the editor-in-chief, and Jenny Chen, the business manager, and an entire group of fourth-year trustees and volunteers from across the university. We are looking forward to featuring the unique moments that make up UVA student life, athletics, organizations, and so much more. Let’s give back to the University, one of its oldest traditions, and cement our class’s legacy.
